Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is located in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing patient care within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, primarily on nights shifts. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of clinical experience, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and experience with MS/Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Neuro Stepdown, Telemetry remote monitoring, Aneurysms and repair, Craniotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Intracranial bleeds, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Post TPA care, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital settings and with Neuro Stepdown units.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    Travelers may be required to float between nearby sister facilities. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including working 3 of the 5 major holidays, and must request all RTO/scheduling preferences during submittal. Successful candidates will demonstrate ability to work efficiently in a high-level neuro and stroke care environment, utilizing electronic health records and specialized equipment such as Viking Lift, Sara Steady, and Hoovermat.
