Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a community hospital, requiring a Nebraska or Compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Details

  • Community hospital setting on the Med/Surg-Tele unit
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Rural healthcare environment

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the State of Nebraska (NE or Compact) required, in-hand prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time RN experience required, rural healthcare experience preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • TNCC certification required within first two years of employment
  • PALS and NRP certifications
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Electronic Health Records experience preferred
  • Charting system experience with Tru/Bridge/Evident preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a rural community hospital setting
  • Local candidates accepted within a 30-mile radius
