Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collaborates with physicians and other clinicians to plan, coordinate, and deliver patient care, including health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Schedule: Straight Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday.
• Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, active South Dakota or compact state registered nursing license, minimal one-year recent experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients within an acute care setting, with ratios typically between 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 at night. Candidates should be willing to float to any medical-surgical unit requested by the facility within their scope of practice.
