The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, and involves working in a certified total joint replacement center and trauma environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (considering day/night rotation), with every other weekend and holiday. The position is based on rotating shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic nursing preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for orthopedic, trauma, or medical-surgical patients is a bonus.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other medical-surgical units or departments.
  • Additional Information: Orientation to the unit is 6-12 hours. The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Scrubs are navy blue, and a navy jacket is optional. Staff will be working in a level 2 trauma care setting, providing admissions, assessments, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with certified nursing assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
