Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Wenatchee, WA. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a medical-surgical unit, adhering to hospital policies and standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The position requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience, with a preference for candidates with four or more years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Wenatchee, WA
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- WA State or Compact RN licensure
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment of at least 1 year (preferred 4 years)
- Must have charge nurse experience
- Ability to float as a sitter and between different campuses, if necessary
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver personalized patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Develop, implement, and reassess individualized care plans
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
- Evaluate discharge plans and patient education needs
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Conduct holistic patient assessments and respond accordingly
- Educate patients and families on health information in a timely manner
- Supervise care provided by assistive personnel
- Participate in performance improvement processes
- Collaborate effectively with all healthcare team members
- Maintain a safe and clean environment according to hospital and unit policies
