Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an ortho unit with cardiac drip overflow, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active Alabama or compact RN license.

Details

• Ortho unit with Med/Surg and telemetry overflow coverage
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Block scheduling may be accommodated

Requirements

• Active Alabama or compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Proficiency required with cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 90-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Previous permanent staff ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years
