Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical | Travel | Rockford, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Medical Surgical units, specializing in providing comprehensive care to patients. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in acute patient management, collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts
  • Assignment Type: Travel
  • Location: Rockford, IL
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and standards of care.
  • Document care according to standards of care.
  • Develop and execute a patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians and hospital policy.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
  • Provide guidance to other units/departments supporting the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
  • Use critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current IL License
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required

PEL/VIP Job ID #65364584. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
