Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care/Med-Surg observation unit. The role requires dedication to patient safety and excellence in clinical practice within a dynamic healthcare environment in the Colorado Mountains.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit RN's for Days. Our census is growing due to increase in Ortho surgeries, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illnesses.
- Certifications: Current RN License to work in Colorado. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Current Flu Vaccine no exemptions.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV s pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week; if requested due to staffing needs.
- Additional Information:
- Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
- CAPS requirement: Applicants must comply with Colorado Department of Health guidelines.
- Ensure the correct SS# and DOB are inputted in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
- Guaranteed hours will NOT apply on holidays for clinic workers.
- Current Flu Vaccine required October 1st April 1st for all travelers. No exemptions.
