Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare organization in Wenatchee, WA. Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Required to have a Washington State / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; required to maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; adheres to organizational policies and unit standards; functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and current legal nursing standards; required to float as a sitter; may float between campuses and in rotation; will float between rehabilitative and medical-surgical units
- Job functions: Provides high-quality patient care using the nursing process; develops and reassesses patient care plans; administers medications and performs nursing procedures and treatments; evaluates discharge plans; documents care, assessments, and responses accurately; collects patient information; conducts ongoing holistic assessments; determines and executes appropriate nursing actions; educates patients and families; maintains current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures; delegates appropriately and supervises non-licensed assistive personnel; participates in performance and quality improvement processes; communicates and collaborates with healthcare team members; maintains a safe and clean environment
