Job Details

Position: RN Medical Surgical Floor
Location: Aspirus Wausau WI
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days (7 am to 7 pm), with every other weekend and holiday requirements
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Required Qualifications: WI RN License and BLS from AHA or ARC; 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience with recent hospital experience; trauma level II experience; prior travel experience; Epic charting experience; recent hospital experience required
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: The RN will provide care in a high-volume, fast-paced post-surgical unit with an average of 10-15 admissions daily. The unit maintains a high occupancy rate of 90-95%, with an average length of stay of 2-3 days. Experience with post-surgical care, extensive multitasking, and prioritization based on acuity are essential. During flu season, mask mandates apply for non-vaccinated staff.
Submission Requirements: Certified copy of WI RN License and BLS must be attached upon submittal.
