Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position located in an area requiring professionals to be at least 50 miles from the facility. The role involves providing patient care on a Med Surg or Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a critical access hospital setting. The assignment offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and the opportunity to work every other weekend.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Two years of recent Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital highly preferred
- Current Med Surg or Med Surg/Telemetry skills checklist
- Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Valid state license in New Hampshire
- All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission
- Permanent address must be included in the submission file
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel experience
- Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
- Additional Information:
- RTO (Reasons To Out) requests should be limited to 3-5 days.
- The housing situation can be challenging; candidates are encouraged to explore options prior to submitting.
- Must be willing and able to float as needed.
