We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical care to join our team in Utica, NY. This is a contract position in a dynamic healthcare environment, focused on providing high-quality patient care.

Submission Requirements:

  • Will consider local candidates (within 75 miles)
  • Up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing and documents travel experience
  • Travel experience is required
  • Skills checklist matching specialty
  • Driver's license with an address that matches demographics
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • NURSYS report for license verification with an active NY license and all active RN licenses
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission
  • EMR experience: EPIC

Job Description:

  • Unit: Medical/Surgical
  • Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed)
  • Floating Required: Yes
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue

  • Common Patient Diagnoses: Post-surgical care including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)
