• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating schedule; weekdays with some weekends
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940-$2,040
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required, with approximately 3-4 weekend shifts per month
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 days, nights, and weekends
• Setting: Mixed Med/Surg and PCU transitional beds

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• IV certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts and float to other units as needed
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Start and maintain IVs and administer medications safely
• Monitor vital signs, patient responses, and ongoing clinical status
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care plans
• Chart accurately in EPIC and maintain timely documentation
• Float to lower acuity units within the organization as needed
• Follow hospital policies while supporting patient safety and quality care
• Manage a broad Med/Surg patient population, including patients with complex medical needs
• Support procedures such as Foley care, PICC care, chest tubes, IV antibiotics, and bedside paracentesis as assigned
