• Float Requirement: Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care Medical/Surgical RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• IV start skills required
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Experience with peripheral line care and management
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred/required per compliance
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with strict compliance timelines and credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and perform IV starts and related vascular access care
• Interpret telemetry and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Support unit flow by floating to comparable or lower-acuity areas as needed
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication in a rotating schedule
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as part of the team schedule
