• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Schedule Notes: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; flexibility to float within equivalent or lower acuity units as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred/required
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Med-Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients in a float pool environment
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Float to different units within the organization as needed based on patient care needs
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of medical-surgical diagnoses
• Perform IV starts, manage peripheral access, and support line care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and support smooth care transitions during busy night shifts
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
