Job Details
- Position: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, specializing in Correctional Health Services.
- Location: Rikers, NY.
- Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week with monthly scheduling, working every other weekend.
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute; New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Queens; minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital or Post Acute Facility within the past year; physical assessment, medication administration, wound care & infection control, IV therapy, post-operative care, patient education, telemetry monitoring.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be available to work every other weekend, based in Rikers, PREA, and DOC is required. Please indicate shift availability and weekend confirmation in the submission cover sheet.
