Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in an acute care facility located in the region will provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations. This role involves caring for patients with various diagnoses, including cardiology, surgical oncology, urology, and general med-surgical conditions, within a fast-paced environment.

- Position Description:
Provides nursing care for a patient census that includes cardiology, surgical oncology, urology, and complex general medical-surgical patients. Responsible for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Willingness to teach and learn is desired. - Required Qualifications:
RN licensure, BLS certification, a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, and the ability to care for a wide range of patients. Must possess a valid drivers license. - Schedule:
12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and self-scheduling per unit management. - Additional Information:
Unit notes specify the use of EPIC charting system, patient ratios of 1:5-6, and the need for ability to read basic strips and monitor techs. Orientation includes 1-2 days, with some shifts subject to cancellation up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. - Submission Requirements:
Candidates must be able to submit a license and pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%.
