Job Details
- Position: RN, Medical Surgical Floor
- Location: Maryland
- Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (20:00-08:30), minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications, and physical ability to work nights. Experience in medical-surgical care is preferred, with a minimum of 1-year experience.
- Patient ratio: 5-6 patients per nurse on nights
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS
- Clinical skills include managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, IV management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring
- Responsibilities include monitoring adult and geriatric patients, managing complex medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Additional Information: Floating within the specialty is required without restrictions. Candidates must be comfortable with interdisciplinary support services and working in a high-acuity environment. The onboarding process includes a 24-hour orientation.
