Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN)located in Marion, Illinois. This position involves providing comprehensive care on a 36-bed medical/surgical/orthopedic unit, primarily working 12-hour day shifts. The role requires confident, independent nursing practice with a focus on patient-centered care in a demanding clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour days (7 am 7:30 pm), with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois RN license (no pending licenses or temporary licenses), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical hospital experience, charting experience with EPIC, associate degree or certificate in nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to emergency department or intensive care unit to assist with medical holds only.
- Additional Information: Must be a resilient, hardworking, social candidate capable of managing change well. Staffing may vary, and flexibility is required for every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.
