Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves caring for patients with infectious diseases, including COVID, MRSA, and C-Diff, in private rooms. The position requires strong knowledge of MedSurg and infection control protocols, with responsibilities including medication administration and patient monitoring.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience required; current nursing license.
• Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts, 36 hours per week minimum, with weekend rotations every other week.
• Additional responsibilities include working in an infectious disease and isolation environment, managing titratable IV medications such as Heparin, and adhering to infection control precautions.
• The unit is staffed with Charge Nurses 24/7, with nurses reading monitors remotely from a dedicated control area.
• Orientation includes one day of EPIC system training, followed by one day on the floor with a preceptor, and then independent practice.
• Floating: Floating is required to any Medical Surgical units; if floated to Telemetry, patients will be assigned within skillset.
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs, with no hoodies or sweat-jackets.
