Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Floor, Danbury, CT. This position provides care across inpatient medical-surgical units within an acute care, Level II trauma setting. Responsibilities include chest tube setup and care, continuous positive airway pressure and bilevel positive airway pressure management, and tracheostomy care.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Connecticut Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; two or more years of experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Float coverage may be required across inpatient medical-surgical units.
    • Every other weekend coverage is required.
    • Clinical responsibilities include chest tube setup and care, continuous positive airway pressure and bilevel positive airway pressure management, and tracheostomy care.
    • Any color scrubs are permitted.
