Travel Observation / Med-Surg RN | Days | 13-Week Contract

Location: Evansville, IN (Midtown Campus)
Specialty: Observation / Med-Surg RN
Shift: Days | 3x12s (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
✅ Active Compact RN License
✅ AHA BLS & NIHSS required
✅ Minimum 2 years of strong Med-Surg experience
✅ At least 1 previous travel assignment
✅ Recent EPIC experience required
Required Skills:
- Cardiac cath recovery (Femoral & TR Bands)
- Post-operative patient care
- NIHSS & neurological assessments
- Dysphagia screening
- Titration of Heparin & Insulin drips
- NG tube insertion
- Foley & straight catheter care
- Drain management
- Blood administration and documentation
Patient Population:
- Chest pain & cardiac observation
- CVA/TIA
- Syncope & dizziness
- Shortness of breath
- GI & Urology pre/post procedures
- Post-surgical patients
- AKI
- Cellulitis
- Detox/CIWA
