Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a facility environment. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with upcoming start date of 10/11/2026. The position includes working nights shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, and a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing or related fields.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift duration, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license verified through Nursys; professional credentials and profile verified via Ascension; completion of Ascension skills checklist and professional references; 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing or related area; location flexibility within Wichita; start date of 10/11/2026; end date of 01/09/2027.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Cerner OneChart electric health record system; ability to float to similar units on the same or another campus within Wichita; knowledge of unit-specific protocols; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be aware that they may be required to float to like units within the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita.
