GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in the vibrant city of Charlottesville, VA. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic 26-bed General Medicine Unit, where you will care for a variety of disease processes affecting the respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems.
As a valued member of the team, you will work night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. While block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed, you will enjoy the flexibility of working either 36 or 48 hours per week. This role requires you to work every other weekend and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays, with a maximum of 40 hours allowed for time off.
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid Virginia nursing license (pending applications are acceptable) and experience with Epic electronic health records. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred but not required. Additionally, adherence to the facility's float policy is essential.
