Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) for a facility located within a 60-mile radius. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical/Surgical floor, managing a diverse patient population with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, chest pain, COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, with a focus on acute patient assessment, monitoring, and interventions.

- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NIHSS is required; experience in a high-acuity Medical/Surgical environment preferred
- Responsibilities: Managing patients with critical conditions, titrating drips such as analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives, reading monitor strips, and utilizing EPIC electronic charting system
- Additional Information: Clinicians must be in state during the week of orientation, with a focus on acute care procedures, patient safety, and effective communication. Experience in assessing and managing complex cases is essential.
