Job Details:

  • Location: 2316 East Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64114
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026
  • Unit Specifics:
    • Number of Beds: 20
    • Patient Ratios: 1:6
    • Staff: Unit secretary during the day, PCTs available, unit educator
    • Equipment: Documentation system Meditech
    • Certifications: Level 1 trauma, BLS required
    • Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants acceptable
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide Med/Surg and nephrology care, including kidney transplants
    • Support off-unit dialysis procedures
    • Adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines
    • Participate in a team-oriented environment with awards recognizing teamwork
    • Complete patient admissions virtually, while bedside nurses focus on patient care
  • Certifications and Education Requirements:
    • Valid RN license
    • BLS certification
    • ADN degree or higher
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, dialysis
