Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric populations, including orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties, as well as inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients
• Utilize telemetry monitoring capabilities available on the unit as clinically indicated
• Serve as Charge RN as needed — Charge RN experience is required
• Float to other campus locations as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic patient populations, including total joint replacements and fracture care
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a medical surgical setting
• Experience with inpatient and observation-status patient management
