Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Floor. The position provides nursing care across medical-surgical units on a night schedule. Candidates must have recent medical-surgical float experience, travel experience, electronic health record experience, and the required licensure and certification.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins 12/07/2026 and runs for 13 weeks.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse; travel nursing experience; electronic health record experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; and an active Florida license or compact license on file at the time of submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Additional Information:
- Float coverage among medical-surgical units may be required.
- Recent experience within the last 12 months at an academic medical institution or, at minimum, a Level 1 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area is preferred.
- The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
- Navy scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required.
- Hair and facial hair must be well groomed.
