Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in the MS (Medical Surgical) specialtylocated at the organizations facility. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a primarily inpatient setting, utilizing your clinical expertise in medical-surgical nursing to support patient recovery and well-being.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, BSN (highly desired), minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience, including telemetries and 6 months of travel nurse experience, Cerner electronic medical record experience, and graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional information: Must live 50 miles away from the organization. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information relevant to patient needs. Performs initial assessment and ongoing assessment of all assigned patients, including admission assessments within policy timeframes.
