Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor, Wilson, NC. The position provides nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting, including surgical and telemetry care. The role supports a collaborative clinical environment with opportunities to care for patients with diverse medical needs.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week and every-other-weekend coverage.
  • Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification; associate-level registered nursing education; two years of nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Medical-surgical nursing experience and electronic medical record experience preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Provides care for adult and geriatric patients in medical-surgical units. Typical patient assignments range from 6:1 to 7:1. Telemetry experience is relevant to the role. No call requirements are expected.
