Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) St. Louis, MO. This position involves providing direct patient care on a Med Surg unit in a healthcare facility. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate, quality care and coordinate patient activities in accordance with facility standards and guidelines.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor
- Location: St. Louis, MO
- Shift: Nights, 19:00 07:30, minimum 36 hours per week
- Certifications and Education: Current RN License (meets Missouri licensure requirements), BLS from AHA (American Heart Association), and a minimum of 1 year of inpatient Med Surg experience.
- Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate care for diverse patient populations. Monitors and collaborates with ancillary departments to optimize care and patient comfort. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, performing duties consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational standards.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from AHA.
- Additional Information: The RN will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and high-risk exposure precautions. Flexibility in schedule and unit assignment may be necessary depending on staffing needs.
