Job Details
- Position: RN - NeuroSurgical
- Location: Saint Louis, MO
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (MS NEURO)
- Shift: Night / 7:00 PM 7:30 AM / 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required
- Education & Experience: At least 1 year of inpatient acute care experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care
- Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours weekly guaranteed, with occasional weekend work and holiday coverage required
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care for neurological conditions such as stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, and neurosurgical procedures. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, evaluates care effectiveness, and coordinates multidisciplinary care. Willingness for occasional charge nurse responsibilities is required.
- Candidates must be available for orientation on day shift and demonstrate flexibility for floating within scope of practice.
