Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Charleston, SC. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a busy med/surg unit, working 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule. The position emphasizes teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient safety, supporting a diverse patient population with a focus on safe discharge and quality outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and current licensure as a registered nurse. Must have at least 1-year experience in a med/surg setting.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: Performing procedures such as wound care, Foley catheter management, and trach care. Participating in patient safety initiatives, patient safety huddles, and bedside shift reporting.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills, teamwork, compassion, and experience with advanced procedures relevant to a med/surg environment.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
