Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to provide tracheostomy care and management
• Comfort working nights, weekends, and floating as needed
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Provide comprehensive tracheostomy care and collaborate with respiratory services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining excellent patient care
• Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
