Job Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• At least 1 year of acute care Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory-focused patient care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Comfortable caring for patients with COPD, tracheostomy needs, COVID-19, and TB as indicated

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Manage respiratory-related diagnoses and support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products in accordance with policy and best practice
• Perform telemetry monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Support wound care, chest tube management, feeding tube care, and other common Med/Surg nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and contribute to a smooth, efficient patient care experience
• Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
