Job Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Previous Epic charting experience required
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 1:5-6 preferred
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Ability to work in a renal and general medical-surgical environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with ESRD, AKI, urology concerns, diabetic complications, and other medical-surgical diagnoses
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response support
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in Epic
• Support safe patient flow, effective teamwork, and quality patient outcomes
• Float to like units as needed within scope and facility needs
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment
