This role involves providing patient care across a diverse hospital unit that includes medical, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological, telemetry, and stepdown patients. The position requires confidence in EPIC electronic medical record systems and managing a patient load of 5-7 patients with total care responsibilities, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position Title: RN - Medical Surgical Floor
- Experience Requirement: 3+ years of Medical Surgical experience, with EPIC experience required.
- Location: Starkville, MS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Rotation Schedule:
- Rotation 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday
- Rotation 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- Call: Potential for call responsibilities during shifts.
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Potential for every 3rd weekend and holiday shifts.
- Additional Information: The unit manages a variety of patients including medical, ortho, general surgery, GIP, telemetry, and stepdown patients. Confidence with electronic health records and managing several total care patients is essential.
