Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage required.

Highlights:

• Specialized renal medical-surgical unit with 24 beds and manageable patient ratios of 1:5-6
• 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation and interdisciplinary team support
• First-time travelers welcome with 24-36 hours of onsite orientation provided
• Work with diverse patient populations including ESRD, urology, AKI, and diabetic complications
• Epic charting system with support from IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience with patient ratios of up to 6 patients
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Must reside outside 75-mile local radius
• Willingness to float to like units within scope as needed
