Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Cushing, OK 74023

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Cushing, Oklahoma

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage required. Patient ratio of 6:1. Float to similar units as needed based on facility requirements.

  • 13-week travel assignment in a community hospital setting with 20-bed medical surgical unit
  • Opportunity for first-time travelers accepted
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Work with diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, CHF, post-op care, and wound management
  • Epic charting system with integrated pump technology and telemetry monitoring
  • 72 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

  • Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, and blood product administration
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Must reside outside 75-mile local radius (local candidates not accepted)
