Medical Surgical Floor RN Rehabilitation Hospital Night Shift (Start Date: 10/12/2026)
This position involves providing patient care in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury recovery. The role requires engaging with a diverse patient population to maximize their health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Job Details
- Location: Rehabilitation hospital setting with a focus on acute inpatient care
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Specialty
- Experience Requirement: 2 years of nursing experience, associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, RN certification, BLS certification, and ability to work night shifts.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN certification, BLS, Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing, valid state licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke, amputation, major surgeries, problem-solving ability, warmth, welcoming manner, leadership skills, and critical thinking skills
- Additional Information:
- Unit equipped with IV pumps, EKG machine, Bari bed, med dispense
- Electronic health record systems used include Cerner and Epic
- Patient ratios of 1:7
- Scrub color is royal blue
- Reporting time is 6:45 pm, ask for Anthony, Ethel, or Demetre upon arrival
