Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, 3 East located in a healthcare facility, this position involves providing exceptional nursing care within a 28-bed medical surgical unit. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, utilizing telemetry and other critical equipment, while adhering to unit policies and safety standards.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Backfill for a 13-week assignment on a Medical Surgical Floor, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS certification, 3+ years of hospital nursing experience, and familiarity with epilepsy care.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be open to feedback, possess a strong owner mentality, and adhere to the unit dress code of navy blue scrubs with the Saint Davids logo. The unit is well-equipped with Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry systems. Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs, with a typical patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1.
