Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Gallatin, TN. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a 167-bed healthcare facility, serving geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients aged 13 and older. The RN will support post-operative joints, bariatric, trauma, and other surgical recovery units, ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatment and recovery.
Job Details
- Location: Gallatin, TN
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours, with a weekly guaranteed minimum of 48 hours
- Qualifications: Active RN license in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, PALS Certifications, 1+ year of experience in a relevant clinical setting, and ability to work in a trauma level III hospital
- Preferred Qualifications: Good assessment skills and a hardworking, compassionate personality.
- Responsibilities: Provide care for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 and older) including post-operative joints, bariatric, and trauma cases. Must be willing to float as needed.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
- Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment. Verification against the Tennessee Abuse Registry is required prior to start.
