Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on a dedicated orthopedic unit. The nurse will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment starts on 09/22/2026 and concludes on 12/22/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state; two years of experience in medical surgical orthopedics with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in community hospital settings; trauma level I or II experience is advantageous; travel experience preferred but not required.
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratios are six patients per shift for days, nights, and weekends.
- Float rotation may be required.
- Fully comply with Ardent submission rules, including license verification and RTO listing at the time of submittal.
- Onboarding requires completing core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing; modules are completed onsite during orientation.
- The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, transportation, and more.
