Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking a dedicated RN to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care within a medical surgical oncology setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role emphasizes family-centered care, patient education, and safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid CA Registered Nurse (RN) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Ability to communicate effectively in English; 0 years of experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or oncology nursing; additional certifications such as Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred
  • Additional Information: Provides hands-on nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, intervention, evaluation, and patient education. Monitors patient responses and collaborates with healthcare team to modify care plans accordingly. Demonstrates leadership qualities and commitment to lifelong learning through participation in professional activities and professional practice evaluations. Uses available technology for documentation and communication. Contributes to a positive team environment and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
