Job Details
- Position Description: RN on Medical Surgical Oncology Floor; shift: variable, 4-10 hour shifts, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch.
- Required Qualifications: BSN, minimum of 1-2 years of outpatient oncology experience, BLS, AHA, ONC Certification.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Certifications: BLS, ONC Certification.
- Special Skills & Responsibilities: Managing ports, administering chemotherapy and blood products, patient education on oncological treatments, monitoring side effects, and controlling infusion therapy.
- Charting System: Epic.
- Patient Ratios: 1:6.
- Additional Information: Experience in handling various cancer diagnoses, including breast, lung, lymphoma, and others, with proficiency in port care, infusion management, and side effect recognition is preferred.
