Job Summary
Clinical Nurse, Medical Surgical Oncology Floor. The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based, hands-on care to patients while assessing needs, developing individualized care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. The role supports patients and families through education, care coordination, safety monitoring, and family-centered care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse licensure; current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers; ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing the nursing process; coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; providing patient and family education; activating emergency protocols when needed; promoting patient and employee safety; prioritizing and delegating care appropriately; documenting and communicating clinical information; contributing to quality improvement, team development, professional education, and lifelong learning; and maintaining current knowledge related to the assigned patient population.
