Job Details

  • Location: San Antonio, TX
  • Schedule: Night shifts (12-hour shifts), 36 hours per week
  • Shift Time: Nights (7 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.) / (7 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.) with rotating weekends
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 5+ years of experience, BLS certification, Oncology experience, Meditech experience preferred, Chemotherapy certification preferred, experience with Mediports/PICCS/Central lines, ability to float as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification, advanced skills on unit
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform procedures such as chemotherapy administration, central line, mediport access, lab draws, and blood product transfusions. Adherence to unit dress code and policies regarding appearance is required. The position involves working in the Oncology (8S) unit of the hospital. Effective documentation and patient care skills are essential.
