Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Neurosurgery/Neuroscience Birmingham, Alabama. This position provides care for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients on a specialized neurological unit. The assignment requires strong neuro and neurosurgery skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, scheduled from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with every other weekend required.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); neuro and neurosurgery experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients.
  • Typical patient ratio is 1:6.
  • No call requirement.
  • Navy blue scrubs are required.
  • Artificial fingernails are not permitted.
  • Compliance must be completed, and the assignment must begin on or before 11/30/2026.
