Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week. 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week period. No call required. Floating to like units as needed.

• First-time travelers welcome with 1 year of recent experience
• Rapid response team support available with comprehensive interdisciplinary services including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Straight time available for up to 48 hours per week
• Maximum of 4 days of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license; pending accepted if obtained prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required (pending accepted)
• CPI certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical or Neuro nursing experience
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in skills including IV management, wound care, blood product administration, central line care, isolation precautions, and medication administration
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
