Medical Surgical Gynecology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Indiana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a Level II Obstetrics (Family Birth Center) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a healthcare facility. The position requires managing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patient populations, with a focus on labor and delivery management.
Job Details
- Position Role: RN Obstetrics (LDRP with Level II Special Care Nursery)
- Specialty: Obstetrics Level II OB and NICU
- Location: Indiana
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Three shifts per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, including two weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; certifications including BLS; at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery management, including vaginal exams, patient triage, and circulating C-section or D&C procedures; high school diploma or equivalent; ability to work nights and weekends.
- Additional Information: May float as a helping hand or patient care technician to medical-surgical, orthopedic, ICU, or emergency room units depending on census. Candidate must be friendly, supportive, a team player, good communicator, and critical thinker.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to follow unit-specific dress code, keep designated shoes for work only, and attend any necessary pre-employment educational modules as instructed.
